Stairway to Hell has a VGM archive for BBC Micro music.

My own site Kaminarimon is a HES repository for PC Engine music.

I cannot access stairwaytohell (DNS lookup fails - expired domain? do you know the IP?). I have added Kaminarimon to the list. Thanks! What is the number of downloads you have?

Thanks! That's a lot of links! Luckily I could edit the BBCode with Sublime Text and multiple cursors! Added all links to table.

hcs had to stop hosting things after his ISP suspended his account, all data from there is on JoshW archives I listed earlier.

GBS Penultimate Archive
http://snesmusic.org/hoot/gbs/

Less selection than other resources for GBS, but more presentable/searchable/etc. There was also the Manly 2SF page (or pages) but I believe they are gone since they took too much effort to curate.

Oh yeah, and Lawrence Lin's PSF archive. It has a lot of sets and periodically gets updated. Again joshw likely trumps it for selection, but it's another nice place to check for updates

If only all these sites had such a wonderful frontend as mdscene :P

That's kind of my plan. Importing all those files into a centralized database.

as long as it is easily corrected, then I'd be glad to help (new composer info seems to pop up all the time :P)

Some Atari music sites:

* ASMA (no pun with Asthma, please) hosts a large archive of SAP files, which plays music composed in Atari 400/800 and his variants;
* SNDH hosts a large archive of Atari ST music in .sndh format;
* sc68 hosts a large (and very outdated) archive of Atari ST / Amiga music in sc68 format.

It will be a complex system. Not sure exactly how it will work, but think of it this way - all the listed archives are data sources, and we can just add our own data source, which takes priority, and contains the corrections. So they all get centralized and the final product is correct and very big indeed.
