Yes, hello, first time caller long time listener. All the tracks in this rip are playing at the wrong tempo – comparing with in-game footage, it is obvious that they are playing at the right pitch, but too slowly. Is it possible for the ripper to fix this? The player I'm using is Game Emu Player 1.218 plugin for foobar2000.
I would probably take a look at the code on MAME debugger soon. As I don't have time re-ripping it due to school works and research going on. Maybe by January or February.
To-Do list: ?
Current Status: I could only upload 5 VGM packs per VB's stream.
Tempo: 105.95%
Pitch: +1.00
Plan A:
hex-edit the .gbs files' timer control, in order to replicate the tempo closer to the in-game footage. Just like when I make the College Slam's .gbs file a few months ago.
Plan B:
I could load up the game in MAME VGM Mod, and start finding the sound drivers for it, but it'll take a long time to do so as to where the correct address where the sound trigger could be. In some cases, I get lucky when I tried to mess up the cpu memory. Sometimes not, so I just did it the proper way.
I apologize for the long response.
