English track names are taken from
.NSF playlist; Japanese track
names are taken, where possible,
from "LAGRANGE POINT
SOUNDTRACKS RETURNS" (EMCA-0021)
The original 1991 soundtrack album for the game, simply called Lagrange Point, includes the Japanese names and credits for tracks like "Bubbles of Light" that are not found on the Returns rerelease (for copyright reasons), and some different Japanese names as well (the song called "Opening Theme (Opening)"* on Returns was indeed called "Theme of Isis (Opening)"** on the original album).

From the original album, the composer of "Within the Deep Darkness" (or "Inside Deep Darkness" in the NSF) is 中村 憲司, most likely romanized as "Kenji Nakamura". The composer of "Bubbles of Light" is Tadashi Sawashita (澤下 禎). Finally, the composer of "Relaxed Atmosphere" (typoed as "Relaxed atomosphere" on the album!) is 川本 真, which is either "Shin Kawamoto" or "Makoto Kawamoto".

* "オープニング・テーマ (オープニング)"
** "THEME OF ISIS (オープニング)"

Some thoughts:
  • The percussion (which is always done on the RP2A03) seems very loud compared to everything else, but I'm not sure how this compares to real hardware.
  • Track 07's title should be "Music Box of Sadness" ("オルゴール" is "music box").
  • Track 22, "Bio Paradise" seems to be the accepted English translation of "バイオの楽園".
Nice work on this pack.

I had to increase the volume because otherwise it sounds too quiet compared to .nsf. Anyway, I'll fix the tags later.
And if you want me to decrease the volume, I could do that as well.

I agree the drums sound too loud in those recordings (like Fighters Awaken for example). NSFplug and foo_gep generally seem more balanced.

You'll need to mess with the extra header in order to fix the balance issues... I did that with the Gimmick! VGMs, maybe you can take a look at those in a hex editor and see how it's implemented. Just change the chip IDs and hopefully it'll work.

Uh.....I don't think I have enough knowledge in hex editing to do that.

well, I made a script that inserts an extra header automatically. I would have mentioned it earlier, but I forgot. You will need the XVI32 hex editor. Also notice that the multiplication factor is in little endian format, which means the low part (which is like the decimal) goes first with the integral part last.
