 Post subject: neo geo vgz to midi? :?

so... i found a neo turf masters germany vgz and i tried to converted into a midi using vgm2midi and it didnt work. I saw another post with the same problem using something called vgm_ptch.exe but the only thing i found is a .c file. Can someone help me or just convert this file into midi? i dont ussually work with vgm's or vgz's. Thanks~

If vgm2mid doesn't support it, you're SOL. Sorry, but you might have to transcribe the song by ear instead. To make that easier you can use a program called Multidumper which will create a separate wav file with each channel. you can find it by googling.

Besides, if vgm2mid DID work with your VGM, you would probably be disappointed by the results because no timing/BPM information is stored in the VGM. And all instruments and samples would be completely off.

vgm_ptch does not create MIDIs, it is used for a completely different purpose (editing VGM files)
