'Pac-Land (ja:パックランチE) is a action platform game, developed and released by Namco in 1984. Bally Midway released it in North America two months later. Ports of Pac-Land was released for various systems, such as the Famicom, the TurboGrafx-16, ZX Spectrum 128, MSX1 and for the Sharp X68000.
Trivia
- The game is based of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon called Pac-Man, aired in North America in 1982;
- A stage based on the first Round of Pac-Land is available in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Also, the jumping sound of Pac-Man in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U is the same jumping sound of Pac-Man in Pac-Land. The hydrant that spits out water in high rounds of Pac-Land is also seen too.
