SPS Co. Ltd (ja:株式会社 エス・ピE・エス) is a Japanese softhouse, founded in 1982-03. SPS was the Sharp's main arm to develop and releasing games (most, arcade ports) for the Sharp X1 and Sharp X68000 computers. When the X68k success was going down due to the NEC PC-9801 sales, as well the introducing of the IBM PC Compatibles in Japan, SPS started to develop and publish games for the Sony's PlayStation. Although SPS' main focus is the Sharp computers, SPS ported The Return of Ishtar for the NEC PC-8801, as well for the Fujitsu FM-7.
