For anyone that is having trouble downloading the full packs or if the pack stops at around 45MB. Try downloading with a download manager, I've managed to download the latest with jDownloader2. https://jdownloader.org/download/index I hope this helps! I can't wait for the next full pack to be released! Thank you @vampirefrog and all that contribute their rips! I really appreciate it!

Anyone able to get this working? Even with jDownloader, it drops pretty quickly (~40 MB or so).

Same, download doesn't work at all. If someone can mirror it elsewhere, that'd be appreciated.

Can you try again, please? I've changed a setting in the server.

Yes, same here. Thanks for trying.

Using the command line utility wget with the --continue option (which is present in most Linux distro and macOS by default) has been reported to work from several people.

Add me to the list of confirmations. Thanks for the suggestion!

Finally got it to work. I used Cygwin in Windows with the following command. You'll need to download the wget2 package.

I had to run it a couple of times, but you can bump up the "tries" if you want. I just didn't want to overload things too bad.

Code: Select all

wget2 --retry-on-http-error=* -c --tries=100 https://vgmrips.net/files/VGMRips_all_of_them_2024-05-18.zip

I think I've fixed it, try again guys.

It had to do with this option in nginx: http://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_ ... _buffering

Looks like Internet Archive has an API maybe I can upload it there too from my script.

Yep--all good now. Thanks for looking into it!

It's a nice one and should be very easy to automate.

I can figure out how to upload the file but not how to create a page for it and all the metadata that it needs.

That would be an excellent solution.
