Jlooky's Originals and Arrangements
Original compositions, as well as ports and remixes of existing songs, can be posted in this forum, as long as they are in VGM format of course.

Jlooky's Originals and Arrangements
Since I learned (enough) about how to use Furnace Tracker, I thought I'll do some arrangements and probably some originals too. First one I've completed so far is Sonic 2's title theme. Originally composed by Masato Nakamura, and arranged by me
BTW, I should get this off my chest: If you are willing to use any of my arrangements/original tracks for anything, I'm fine with that as long as you credit me and/or get permission from me.
Alright? Cool!

Re: Jlooky's Originals and Arrangements
Here's another arrangement of a song that was for a Game Boy game called "4-in-1 Funpak: Volume II". This is an NES arrangement, and it was originally composed by Marshall Parker.

An arrangement of one of my favorite MIDIs, Passport! It was originally composed by Passport Designs. This one is using the Sega Genesis' sound chips plus the Sega CD's RF channels, although I really only used them for drums. Anyhow, enjoy!

Here's an arrangement of the Body Count title theme using the RF5C164 chip. This is my first fully sampled thing I've ever done on Furnace, and it was really fun, especially with taking more advantage of stereo! Originally composed by Steve Collett.

Re: Jlooky's Originals and Arrangements
In honor of Geoff Follin's recent passing, I've decided to do a Game Gear arrangement of one of my favorite works of his, Spot: The Video Game (Game Boy). As always, it was made through Furnace.

It's been a while since I posted here. Here's a Sega Genesis arrangement of "Ohayou Sayori!" from Doki Doki Literature Club! (please don't judge me I have a weird DDLC fascination as of late)

Re: Jlooky's Originals and Arrangements
Those are some very nice arrangements! I really enjoyed listening to them.
If I should nitpick about something, then I'd say that the drum track in "Spot The Video Game - Title Theme" is a bit plain, but that's an issue already present in the original song.
The drum sounds could maybe fade out a bit faster to reduce the amount of static throughout the song.
(The song is also noticeably louder than the other songs, which is a bit annoying when it's in a playlist.)

Re: Jlooky's Originals and Arrangements
Been a good bit since I've posted in this forum, so here's another Genesis arrangement. This time being a re-arrangement of "The Cattanooga Iron Horse" from the first Bubsy game. I know there already exists a Genesis iteration of this tune, but I wanted to do my own take on it. Originally composed by Matthew Berardo.

Re: Jlooky's Originals and Arrangements
Fractured Furry Tales has an absolute banger of a soundtrack, so I figured why not do a Sega Genesis arrangement of one of the tracks! The track in particular is "Welcome to Wonderland". I wanted to challenge myself a bit with this one and used the YM2612 only, and I'd say it turned out pretty well! I might do more of them. Originally composed by Alastair Lindsay & Kevin Saville.
