Something I never bothered to notice before until I was listening to this for comparison with the nuked player: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2jW0ZjIJvE

Is the SN76496/YM2612 volume balance off with the vgms or is it just me?

link to vgm pack for quick comparison: http://smd.joshw.info/l/Lightening%20Fo ... bSMD%5d.7z

I'm asking this here because I don't have a project2612 account.

The volume in VGMs will always be "off", because it differs between the various MegaDrive models as well, AFAIK.

I guess that makes sense. I thought something was odd because I remember listening to another real hardware recording, and the volume balance was much closer to the vgm's balance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uf-zb1MdXe4
