Post by Soniccis96 »

Can you please tell me about any tool or way to rip MIDI data from X68000 games (SC-55)? Only way to rip VGMs is posted in Wiki.

Some time ago I modified the XM6 emulator to be able to log MIDI files directly - see this post.
I used it to make MIDI rips of Akumajou Dracula and Asuka 120%.

... except that I did. The post I linked contains link to an archive called XM6_205_VGM+MIDI.7z, which contains a fully working Win32 binary of the XM6 emulator with support for dumping MIDIs.
You need the BIOS files IPLROM.DAT and CGROM.DAT for it to work, but those are required by the original XM6 as well.
