Can anyone add the main differences between both JP and NA versions of Super Star Soldier soundtrack?

The only difference I've noticed is, the TG-16 release's OST as a whole is noticeably quieter. The difference is not due to a different value written to the HuC6280's "master" volume register, as both versions write $EE to this register.

The quality of the drum samples has been degraded in the US release. That because the TurboGrafx version adds a few sampled SFX (some directly lifted from Gunhed) and the developers probably had to make room for them by reducing the size of the existing samples.
