You was logged this on MESS??? If yes, you have a lot of patience, because the X68k emulation on MESS is very slow.

No, I logged this in hoot to S98 format which I converted to VGM.

But your converter has capable to convert YM2151 + PCM or YM2151 only?

My converter is capable of converting stuff from S98 (not all of them for now but those recorded from typical PC88/PC98/MSX sound hardware should work). AFAIK S98 doesn't support ADPCM chip which came with X68k
