Which other games support audio engines by Shin'en?

Post by Igoreshazhu »

I just love the soundtracks by Shin'en. So far, I know which GBA games use the GAX sound engine, based on the list by loveemu. But there are still no lists of games for GBC and NDS.

I also recognized Shin'en in these GBC games (GHX Sound Engine):

Polaris SnoCross
Asterix: Search for Dogmatix
Tomb Raider
Test Drive Le Mans
Wacky Races
Spider-Man
Fix & Foxi: Lupo
Pro Darts
The Wild Thornberrys: Rambler
Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX
SuperCross Freestyle
Barbie: Magic Genie Adventure
NBA Jam 2001
NASCAR Heat
Hoyle Card Games
Jimmy White's Cueball
Power Spike Pro Beach Volleyball
Rescue Heroes: Fire Frenzy
Kaept'n Blaubaer: Die verrueckte Schatzsuche
Blue's Clues: Blue's Alphabet Book
SpongeBob SquarePants: Legend of the Lost Spatula
Spider-Man 2: The Sinister Six
Tomb Raider: Curse of the Sword
Prince Naseem Boxing
Kelly Club: Clubhouse Fun
Planet of the Apes

Unreleased:

Rinkapink
Iridion
Turrican
Re-Volt
Tyrannosaurus Tex
AMF Bowling
VR Sports Powerboat Racing
Carnivale
Sea-Doo Hydrocross

Homebrews:

JetPak DX
Crazy Zone

Also, in some GBC games sounds familiar to GHX Sound Engine by Shin'en:

Micro Machines 1 & 2: Twin Turbo
Micro Machines V3
Micro Maniacs
TOCA Touring Car Championship
Player Manager 2001
The F.A. Premier League Stars 2001
Bear in the Big Blue House
Log!cal
Puzzled

Tom and Jerry: Mouse Hunt
The Land Before Time
KRTL: Jay und die Spielzeugdiebe
Ottifanten: Kommando Störtebeker
Das Geheimnis der Happy Hippo-Insel
Nascar Racers
Tonka Construction Site
World Destruction League: Thunder Tanks
Zoboomafoo: Playtime in Zobooland
Monsters Inc

Also, In Micro Machines 1 & 2 Manfred Linzner and Bernhard Wodok credited, as Special Thanks.

And also, Shin'en in these Nintendo DS games (DSX Sound Engine):

Spider-Man 2
Ping Pals
Madagascar
Nanostray
Scooby-Doo! Unmasked
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Yellow Avenger
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Kim Possible: Kimmunicator
Burnout: Legends
Ford Racing 3
James Pond: Codename RoboCod
Over the Hedge
Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends: Harvest Time Hop and Fly
Monster House
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody: Tipton Trouble
American Dragon Jake Long: Attack of the Dark Dragon
SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature From The Krusty Krab
Happy Feet
My Animal Centre in Africa
Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses
Disney's Kim Possible: Global Gemini
Garfield's Nightmare
Pet Alien: An Intergalactic Puzzlepalooza
Anno 1701: Dawn of Discovery
Cars Mater-National Championship
Strawberry Shortcake: The Four Seasons Cake
MX vs. ATV Untamed
Toy Shop
Nanostray 2
Zenses: Ocean
Zenses: Rainforest
Barbie and The Three Musketeers
Zenses: Zen Garden
Aliens: Infestation

Although I think there were no more DS games DSX sound engine.

I also know couple of N-Gage games, with supports NAX Sound Engine:

Crash Nitro Kart
Payload

I think that's enough for now. If anyone else remembers any games, write to me about it here.

Well, i errored about these games. These games used Thomas Egeskov Petersen's GBC music/sound tools and possibly custom sound driver by Cosmigo. Also, music from Tom and Jerry: Mouse Hunt was written in Carillon Editor by Aleksi Eeben, not in GHX tools by Shin'en.

Well, only two games used NAX. There are no more.
