It works! I will try more files tomorrow, but I can confirm that Mario Land now plays properly on my X3.toxa wrote: ↑2024-11-17, 18:35:46 Please try this new version: https://github.com/untoxa/VGM_player/releases/latest

Actually, i found another problem, and here is the fixed version: https://github.com/untoxa/VGM_player/releases/latest
Thanks a lot for the update! Many tracks work great! But some seem to play very slowly such as Castlevania II.toxa wrote: ↑2024-11-17, 21:08:40Actually, i found another problem, and here is the fixed version: https://github.com/untoxa/VGM_player/releases/latest

Thanks for the update! Looking forward to trying it, but honestly I know jack about coding and I have no idea how to compile this.toxa wrote: ↑2025-01-04, 23:59:42please try this new version: https://github.com/untoxa/VGM_player/ac ... ackage.ymlsuperdeadite wrote: ↑2024-11-19, 18:35:32Thanks a lot for the update! it plays, not perfect, but i guess there is a problem in the VGM RIP itself, maybe some non-standard timings or something.
download the compiled ROM files by the link i gave above. click "VGM Player Build and Package", then click on the "Linux-x64 build" - those are the compiled ROM files. you must be logged in onto the github.superdeadite wrote: ↑2025-01-06, 16:02:19Could you please upload a ready to use ROM for the Everdrive series? Sorry and thanks.
LOL I just needed to log in. Anyway, this new version is certainly an improvement over the previous. The Castlevania II tracks still don't play correctly, but certainly better than before. As you said, it could be something in the VGM files themselves. But as a control, I did run the VGM through DMVGM to convert the track to a standard GB rom, and the music plays perfectly using that method on all GB hardware I have.toxa wrote: ↑2025-01-07, 0:21:56download the compiled ROM files by the link i gave above. click "VGM Player Build and Package", then click on the "Linux-x64 build" - those are the compiled ROM files. you must be logged in onto the github.superdeadite wrote: ↑2025-01-06, 16:02:19Could you please upload a ready to use ROM for the Everdrive series?
