Try another browser then.
Alternatively copy the link and paste it into the browser's address bar. (and change "http" to "https" maybe)
An issue could be that the links are all HTTP and the browser doesn't like going from HTTPS to HTTP. (even though the web server will force it back to HTTPS)

I usually release a VGM mod every 8 versions, so the next one will be MAME 0.280.

because it is effort to port all the changes over to the current MAME versions, because the MAME devs keep changing stuff
