I would like to be able to play my vgm rips as gbs files in Meridian Advance.
A conversion program which converts GB DMG vgm files to GBS format could accomplish that.

dmvgm = Mic's vgm2gb.

vgm2gb.exe does not create GBS files. It only creates gameboy roms. It can't create Game Boy Soundfile.

Here is what Mic said to my email:
Quote:
A GBS is supposed to have a play routine that gets called every frame or so, and returns when it's done updating the sound registers.

And then this from his vgm2gb readme file:
Quote:
The playback code only handles SN76489 stuff, so don't bother trying to convert any tunes that
use YM2413, YM2612 or anything like that. The maximum size of the (uncompressed) VGM is 112 kB.
