Is there some way to record VGM through M88 emulator?

Technical discussion about the VGM format, and all the software you need to handle VGM files.

Right now, the only way to log stuff in M88 is to install a S98 logging plugin.
But this logs S98 files with a far lower tick resolution than VGM. (either 100 or 1000 Hz, I don't remember the details)

Alternatively you can record VGMs using MAME VGM. That how most PC-88 rips that we have were done.

So how to use MAME to open D88 software?

I know that s98 cannot record adpcm, so only use mame.
