Hmm, it's kinda slow. Was it really like this in game or you recorded it from hoot?

Is the game. Hudson seems to be bad with PC88 games.

Just wondering what should we do with 640x200 screens? Doubling vertical size (with nearest neighbor algorithm) makes everything look prettier but nineko won't like that :v

This is the MESS resolution for PC88 games. The screenshots is like the Darius and Darius II ones. But if is the true resolution, I can do nothing.

It's true resolution but these computers had 1:2 pixel ratio

  • it's clearly how it was intended to be displayed
  • the pixel data is still preserved
Particular emphasis on the second point.

This should reported in MESSdev forums. But don't worry, the PC88 driver has not fully functional (most of features like YM2608 support are missing). So, all that our do is wait...

You mean it looks squished in MESS screen too? :P
P.S. I'd personally use M88+S98 writing extension instead of MESS, poke me if you need that stuff.

NO! I mean the screenshot. Is horrible if PC88 NEEDS 3 CRT MONITORS TO RUN!!!!
