Re: Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

Some new information has come to light about the individual track composers for this set.

David Javelosa has a YouTube channel now and he's uploaded a few videos related to Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, and talked about his work on the game in the comments.

In a recent comment (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSmBDej ... 2gHcvjfZez), he stated:
I was the only US composer on the US release. The other tracks were from the original Puyo Puyo game done at SOJ with their audio team.
Based on that information, all of the following tracks original to Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine should be credited to Javelosa, not the Puyo Puyo 1 composers:
  • Opening Theme
  • Configuration
  • Opening Theme
  • Stages 1-4 Intro
  • Stages 5-8 Intro
  • Stages 9-12 Intro
  • Stages 9-12
  • Stage 13
  • Dr. R's in Danger!
  • Dr. Robotnik Defeated
  • Victory!
  • Unused (Sound Code 01) (Javelosa's arrangement of "Home Computer" by Kraftwerk)
  • The Machine Explodes????
The following tracks are nearly identical to ones from Puyo Puyo and therefore probably be credited to the Puyo Puyo 1 composers, not Javelosa:
  • Password Entry (Memories of Puyo Puyo/TRY OUT from Madou Monogatari)
  • Staff Roll (Sunset of Puyo Puyo)
  • Exercise Mode (Sticker of Puyo Puyo)
  • 2 Player vs. (Final of Puyo Puyo)
  • Unused (Sound Code 0C) (Stage Clear/Level Up from Madou Monogatari)
  • Unused (Brave of Puyo Puyo/The Return of the Magic Girl Part 2 from Madou Monogatari II)
  • Unused (Theme of Puyo Puyo)
The following tracks are based on tracks from Puyo Puyo, but changed significantly, and should probably be credited to both Javelosa and the Puyo Puyo 1 composers:
  • Stages 1-4
  • Stages 5-8
  • Continue? (Sticker of Puyo Puyo)
  • Ending Theme (Theme of Puyo Puyo)
  • Danger! (Final of Puyo Puyo)
  • Stage 13 Intro (Brave of Puyo Puyo/The Return of the Magic Girl Part 2 from Madou Monogatari II)
There's some room for discussion as to where exactly you draw the line, but this list should be pretty close to accurate.
