Hmm, that's interesting- his own chronology doesn't go before 1993. Namiki is credited within the same itself though, as 三TARO:

This page on the Best 100 Game Music atwiki cites an interview with Namiki on this particular game in ゲームサイド2009年12月号, so perhaps he says something about his involvement in the game?

Some of these tunes are based off the actual Macross anime soundtrack.

Title -> Dog Fighter
Waiting for Start -> "Zero-G Love"
Ending -> "Ai Oboete Imasu ka" (Do You Remember Love?)
Name Entry -> "Shao Pai Long"

Indeed, I got to see in the site where I got the tags, and there was the name of the song, and the original composer, all this information is in the notes of each of the VGMs.
