Three notes:

- Tracks 5 and 8 are endless;
- Bad remixes from the CPS original;
- Missing screenshot (don't expect this in a pinball machine!).

I didn't know we could get vgm rips from pinball machines :O_o:

I guess that this calls for a new forum section...

A lot of Pinball games is supported in M1 but 90% lack a playlist file. E.g.: SF2 is the only pinball game from System 3 that has a playlist.

I'm counting 31 games in m1.xml that use the Gottlieb System 3.

oh yea! "addams family" has a ym2151 in it, and if the rom is present visual pinball+vpinmame plays the correct music and sfx when running the virtual table.

Pinball Machines section is not a great expection of a lot ones. Another that is rippable and use a playlist, is Twilight Zone, but uses OPM and DAC (Williams CVSD board). The others that has a playlist, uses DAC (Midway DCS) or DECO's BSMT2000.

MAME has started to emulate pinball machines, but most of them has in "skeleton" status.

So I've listened various videos about this pinball machine, and I've noticed that it contains a sample-based sound chip that plays drums (and voice SFX). I wonder if that is one of the chips supported by the VGM format?

Operator's manual speaks of two soundboards:
* A board that has two 6502-driven DACs
* Auxilary board with a Yamaha YM2151 and a OKI MSM6295

I don't know if the dual DACs are used for music, but the OKI is definitely supported by the VGM spec.

IIRC those Pinball machines often used one of the DACs and one of the OKI chips for drums, so having proper rips of those should be possible.
The OKI6295 probably wasn't supported by the VGM format at the time the rip was done.

Yeah, although M1 has an issue where it does not play back the sounds made in the two DACs; there are drum samples being played back on the 6295, but it's very soft...

And there isn't a fork of PinMAME with the ability to log VGMs...

Oh, so these Pinball machines used an OKI sound chip? Hmm, that sounds interesting. Hopefully in the future we can have a re-rip.
