Mega Man II / Rockman World 2
Re: Mega Man II / Rockman World 2
There's a lot of fuzzy static in the music that wasn't in the original game music. Can someone fix that?
Re: Mega Man II / Rockman World 2
I suppose I'll have to update this pack's tags sometime. Developer is Thinking Rabbit (where did the JSH credit originally come from anyways?) and Hiroto Nakamura isn't credited- I know that sounds pointless since it's his sound driver and he's merely an arranger/sound programmer, but there's a good reason for this, and it's because the compositions of the songs in games both him and Kenji Yamazaki worked on end up rather distinct; look at the games either did on their own and then look at the ones the two are both credited on and you'll notice the stark change in composition style. It's not the most perfect evidence but (at least to me) it seems like he had a hand in the compositions, even if not directly.
As for the "static sounding" bug, I'm not sure I hear it. My VGM player plays it pretty much as the driver itself would, and it sounds the same as the original game on real hardware, the description is too vague for me to really understand the issue, so perhaps it is an emulation issue in the VGM player?
