That was quick!
  • File extensions should be .vgz.
  • The SCC+ flag isn’t set.
  • Tags missing.
  • Clock frequencies should be 1789773.
  • TXT should list K052539 rather than the K051649
  • TXT should have spaces after the commas between each music author
  • TXT should line wrap at… 47 characters I believe? (or was it 49)
  • Screenshot should come from the game (256x212, it appears after a while if you wait for the intro to run)

- Tag script failed, fixed
- Next zip file will contain uncompressed vgm files, ctr recommendation
- clock + scc+ setting are missing because kss2vgm doesn't set them... will look into that later.
- TXT: K052539 value is currently false  but should be fixed together with the actual vgm files
- TXT: Author spaces fixed
- TXT: Wrapping will be fixed
- Will fetch a nice screenshot with OpenMSX....

Awesome!

Bonus points for a screenshot with Gillian or the Snatcher :D.

TXT file also says “logged with openMSX” currently.

And instead of 84 (Unused) / 113 (Unused), maybe just say Unused 1, Unused 2 or some variation thereof.

Nice pack for a great soundtrack, reminiscent of Metal Gear 1 & 2.

I noted two typos: "HarryS Retrospection" and "LetS Go Downtown".

Some tracks don't seem to be properly trimmed or looped (for example Strange Overture ends abruptly, other tracks have several seconds of silence at the end), but I suppose it's a WIP?

Personally, I would omit all the sound effects (like Timebomb) which are not music tracks per se.

Damn you guys notice everything, but I like it. :) Will get the perfect pack.

@Grauw: What's wrong with the 'logged with OpenMSX thing'? Will fix the Unused thing, the numbers are the track in the KSS file.

@Kaminari: The track names are from the original m3u file, will fix them. Thanks for listening the music, I didn't listen everything yet. All tracks should be trimmed so it's interesting that there is silence. Are those track all non-looped tracks? Maybe I didn't trim them... Wil remove sound effects.

Yes, the tracks with trailing silences are non-looping music. Those silences can last up to 3 or 4 seconds, which is quite too much for VGM files.

About "Strange Overture" -- I see that you have recorded the final part starting at 1:40, but it doesn't loop, it just plays until 2:02 and then cuts abruptly. According to the KSS file (which plays a bit faster), that cue starts at 1:38 and should run for 8 seconds before looping.

Ah yes, my source trackinfo file suggested it didn't loop, but it does indeed...

btw, you said 'according to the kss file', you actually debugged that? Or do you have a .m3u file?

* 26 Warning is the wrong track (it duplicates 53 Triumphal Arch after the intro).

Should be: https://youtu.be/awufaNB3RFo?t=31m26s

Interesting: 53 uses 4 SCC channels; 26 uses all 5 SCC channels. IMO the 26 one should be kept as “58 Triumphal Arch (5ch SCC)”.

* 34 Body Snatchers is the wrong track (it duplicates 51 Master Snatcher).

Should be: https://youtu.be/awufaNB3RFo?t=42m46s

Could be useful to check with Shaiwa's KSS rip, available at Knurek's Archives.
