My forty-sixth submission is Data East's extremely 1991 action-fest Desert Assault / Thunder Zone, with thrilling music set to powerful FM synths and sampled instruments (including awesome rock guitars). It makes you feel like you're in a Gulf War-tinged action movie from the era and you really are sallying forth to destroy terrorism with sheer firepower. A recommended listen!
