I haven't seen physical footage of a Valtric machine, but the album releases and Hoot rip are both slightly lower-pitched.

VB edit: Note - the pack in the OP was adjusted to have the OST pitch.

I'll leave it as-is since there's no PCB recording of the game.

zerovision has a point- the soundtrack has been released on album several times over the past 30 years, and they do indeed all have a lower pitch than your VGMs.

Recording from Game Sound Jaleco -G.S.M. JALECO 1- (1988):

Recording from LEGEND OF GAME MUSIC PREMIUM BOX (2005):

Arcade Disc In JALECO -SHOOTING- (2013) also includes this game's soundtrack and while I probably shouldn't link to the site I found the album on, I can confirm that it sounds similar to the other two album releases.

Same goes for Argus. I have seen a PCB recording, and the pitch is lower than the rip we have. This also goes for the album releases of Argus.

I'll try my best to get close to that value, so far I'm sitting on 1.45 MHz. Test that out and see if it needs more adjustment.

From what I can tell, it’s about 1.478125 MHz.

Adjusted the clock, this conversation can be cleared after approval.

VB edit: I think keeping the conversation is fine here. I will keep it to make sure there aren't any confusions later.
