Happy ½ anniversary, vgmrips!
As you can tell from my registration date, vgmrips was officially founded 6 months ago.
We have to celebrate!
Therefore, on saturday 2012-06-02, we'll be having an e-party in our official IRC channel, trying to take in account the various timezones of our userbase (probably night for europeans, afternoon for americans, sunday for asians).
There will also be a surprise (if I manage to pull it off; I found a new job yesterday, right in time to mess up with the organisation of this thing).
For now, let's just say happy birthday to eachother

Just to remind you, later today there will be a *special event* in the IRC channel, so make sure to be there
Hopefully that time will be suitable for most people, from Brasil to Japan.

I know it's with Z officially, I just like to preserve original names when they're similar to their English equivalents
Brasil is ok, Deutschland and 日本国 are a bit too different instead
And yes, I am from Italia

I'm not sure yet; I'll be in the IRC channel later, and I'll wait until there are several people.
Roughly, at least 2 or 3 hours from now.
By the way, make sure you're connecting from a computer, I'm not sure if a mobile device would be suitable.

Aaaaaaand it's over. For those who missed it (and many people missed it since there were only 4 listeners), I hosted a podcast of vgm songs. A quick introduction with songs from our "older brothers" (one from the Game Gear (ripped by me), one from the Master System, one from the Genesis (ripped by 2ch-H), one from the Sega CD (ripped by ValleyBell)), and then a selection of our songs chosen by ValleyBell and me. All of this, with Microsoft Anna talking for me since I didn't feel like plugging my microphone
And yes, you can install Anna on XP with a patch
