Re: City Hunter
I was the one who added the Kageyama credit to VGMdb, and I should note that the credits of the game itself contradict this: It credits Naoki Kodaka for the music.
The Kageyama credit comes from ap0c, who apparently was told by Kageyama himself he worked on it. I don't know where Red Art Games got their Kodaka credit from.
I'd say not to update the credits on the VGM pack until more info surfaces.

Re: City Hunter
I never finished the game, but it reportedly has no credits sequence. Does the "official" OST mention Kageyama?
I also thought for a long time the music bore the style of Kodaka; but since Kageyama's death, every source seemed to agree on his participation to the game.

Oops, I wasn't specific enough: the credits to the recent re-release is the one that credits Kodaka. The official OST, which is being made for that re-release, will presumably credit Kodaka as well.
I don't know what other sources say it's Kageyama aside from VGMdb, which I added Kageyama's credit to, but since there is confusion on this matter I've gone back and removed his name from VGMdb until we get a clearer picture of what is going on here.
