This rip is missing the drums (probably played by MSM5205 chip).

That's already been mentioned in the notes.

Honestly, it was such a waste of time to make a pack where some tracks use an unsupported chip (especially one that is important to the tracks). I would like to see the MSM5205 supported in the future; anyone know why it isn't supported?

MSM5205 is also required for some PC Engine CD games (and would also be very useful for homebrew productions), but it's been on the backburner for ages. I think the publicized reason was not a technical problem but the lack of games (although I can name a dozen supported chips which have far fewer games than MSM5205).

No, no, no - the reason IS a technical problem. And that is, that that VGMs don't support 3+ sound chips of the same type. And that is a very common scenario for the 5205 chip.

One MSM5205 per mono channel? That seems extreme. Incidentally, I wonder how the NEC PC-FX manages to output stereo ADPCM with just one MSM5205 (the PC-FX audio hardware is apparently identical to a PC Engine CD system).
