Yoo,
the MDScene.net server has gotten new network equipment =D It was not reachable for approximately half an hour.
Sorry 'bout that!

EXTREME FAILURE
Hi guys.
You might have noticed the 2d-downtime that this server has experienced.
This comes down to a few unfortunate accidents. I hereby report:
* One hard disk failure
* Operating system failure
There was no critical data lost except for old useless backups. The HDD has been replaced and the OS reinstalled.
Cheers,
Oerg866

Oerg, please note that now the server time seems to be wrong now, I'm on GMT+1, it's 1:49AM here, but the server thinks it's 10:49

Well, Oerg and I managed to get it back to normal now. Some users might see more unread posts than they should because of some queries we ran on the database, sorry for the inconvenience.

My apology
Hey guys,
I'm having some severe trouble with the server right now. It still works, but within the next 2 or 3 weeks, i'll rebuild it so that all those little failures will not happen again..
What happened this time, the HDD with the bad partition is now dead for good, and upon a routine r/w stuff, it decided to error out and unmount BOTH DRIVES connected to that ide channel from the devices list. Meaning, the HDD with all data on it was unmounted too. I remounted them, and disabled the dead HDD.
God fuggin damnit.

I took the liberty to merge your three downtime threads, and change the title and the topic icon accordingly
