Snare drum seems to cause clicks. (It does not occur in Mame and M1)

Another is playing in stereo using a mixer chip in this game. (Darius is also)
Can emulate the stereo? (Mame is able to emulate)

I watched a few videos on YouTube and in all of them the snare drum has these clicks.
I fixed the same issue in Chase H.Q. by changing one or two bytes in the sample ROM, btw.

About stereo: There seem to be some stereo effects indeed.
Since they go to a special chip, they aren't logged though and it would be necessary to "hack" the stereo commands in after logging/trimming. (maybe in form of YM2610 pan commands, but that would be a rough approximation, since mixer chip seems to allow 256 volume levels for L and R)

Currently (and this won't change in near future) it isn't possible to correctly reproduce the stereo effect with VGM logs.

I looked the old version of Official Mame.
Clicks has occurred in the snare drum from Mame 0.116 or later, Mame 0.115 previously was normal. (Maybe a bug in Mame?)

The Stereo effect is done by some Volume Filters. All Taito Z System and some Taito Dual 68k has it. You can see this true effect in Space Gun, it uses a lot of this effect.
