The tempo is faster on actual hardware compared to an emulator (and this pack).

Example footage (recorded with phone cameras, etc.):

(To be fair, I wouldn't have noticed the difference either if I didn't own both a Virtual Boy and Vertical Force, which I imagine is quite the rare combination...)

Yeah, and as discussed a day or so ago over IRC, it doesn't seem like any emulator capable of ripping to VGM format runs the music accurately enough to hardware. I'm supposing that means this pack is gonna be scrapped? :/

I think this could still be posted up, with an advisory that it is slightly inaccurate.

And, thanks. With each new VirtualBoy soundtrack rip, it's a significant step closer to achieving 100% VB OST rips :P

I don't see a problem posting this. We can just put a note there that no emulator gets the speed right and it should be reripped when emulation is accurate enough.

My only issue with this pack: Please redo the screenshot. It must be captured in "1x" zoom mode without any aspect ratio correction. (i.e. they mustn't be blurry)

Ooh, 1x? I was never actually sure what size to capture the screenshot in. The pack in the original post has been edited with a new screen, hope that's better!

oh gosh, no problem! I'll be ripping more whenever I can (I've actually got Nester's Funky Bowling done as well, given the debug menu+sound test was found recently-- I just need to find the names for a couple tracks, heh.)
