I tried to run robosid on openmsx, which will use the OPL4 FM part (OPL3 in fact) to play SID music, and it doesn’t sound outrageous, which is really interesting.

Since the generated vgm uses the OPL4 chip, but actually only uses the OPL3 part, I think there is a tool that can implement opl4 to opl3.

Currently I have a method to convert this OPL4 vgm to OPL3, the following are some results.

I currently use sbvgm136 temporarily, this version supports opl4 to opl3, and I use dosbox to record opl3 vgm, although this method is clumsy. If you have a better tool, please share it with me.
