Metroid II - Return of Samus

-Interesting set. Many tracks either don't
have real loops or they loop at a point past
where it is possible for me to analyze (5+hrs).
Polymeter and tritone rich melodies abound.
Melodies tend to be atonal, tempo changes are
common. Some songs that sound as if they have
an easy and predictable pattern do not if fact,
have one. Some voices even seem to keep their
own tempo, which is not strictly polymeter.
Long waits and strange commands I have not seen
in other rips are present in this set. I was
not able to discover the educational
background of the composer, but the work here
is coherent, and may interest musicologists
looking for something more eclectic than the
average chiptune. This soundtrack conveys the
sense of a solitary journey through a
dangerous and lonely world. Effective use of
silence.
