First and foremost, I'd like to dedicate this set to Lillymon, probably the most hardcore Ristar fan out there. This set's for her. :) This set was intended as another Sonic 3 and Knuckles stopgap, and it ultimately failed, with me ripping about 4 songs before abandoning it. All files were reripped in late July and the whole set was worked on rather speedily, oddly like S3&K. (There was a fair gap of about 13 hours though, so it wasn't totally done straight, unlike S3&K. Also because the few songs I ripped were done on an ANCIENT version of Kega Fusion (.1b) and I wanted them to be as accurate as possible. :p Really choice music here, with some quite memorable (and in lots of cases, hard to time!) tunes. With a little more marketing push, Ristar could very well have become a second mascot, kind of like Link is to Nintendo. Then there's Pulseman... but that will have to wait for that particular rip. :) Opening Theme 2 has the Title Screen music in its loop. Yes, I could have ripped it seperately, but it doesn't have a sound test entry, so I left it as thus. Round 6-1's music damn near hurt my ears. Round 6-2 isn't fun either, but hey, I dealt with it for the five people that want to hear those things loop for hours. :p Ronud Clear 2's SFX are a bit distorted at the start (Specifically, the "Shimmer" at about 1 second in.) Not much I can do about it - it's either logger or sound engine errors. In theory, I could have ripped the Songs in Onchi Mode as well, to beef the OST to 54 songs, but I don't think a lot of people would want that, since all it does is distort the normal song notes and sound really fucked up. If you want to hear them that bad, enter the password MAGURO at the password screen and go into the sound test - I actually had to do this to rip the Ending Themes, as they are locked without this code. Outta Here. -DP As in my World of Illusion Beta set, I simply reused the tags from the relevant songs, adding "With Intro" and the like. Again, because of my lack of knowledge of Japanese, I couldn't add these parentheticals to the Japanese tags. I believe NOT including the Onchi Mode songs was a wonderful idea, by the way! -Jackle
