Here you will find the songs from the final version, as well as a few from the last beta version, from 1992. The beta version of the game featured poorly translated intro text, as well as a different song list. There are a lot of translation improvements between the two versions of the game. The following notes refer to the beta version, ripped by vampirefrog: I used Fusion 3.64 for logging, vgmlpfnd to find the loops, and on many of the songs the loops found were 5x longer, so I divided the number of samples in the loop length by 5 and got the proper loop length. Here are the corresponding songs in the sound test: 1992 Beta Final ----------------------------------------------- 01: He Runs He Runs 02: Ninja Soul Ninja Soul 03: Shadow's Shadows 04: Hassou! FOR LONG CENTURY WORLD WAS BROKEN APART BY THE TWO BIG NINJA PARTIES. ONE WAS THE EVIL NINJA AND ANOTHER WAS THE OBORO NINJA STRUGGLE TO SAVE THE WORLD AGAINST THAT. TWO YEARS AGO JOE MUSASHI OF OBORO PARTY KILLED MASKED NINJA THE COMMANDER OF THE HUGE DARK PARTY NEO ZEED. EVERYBODY THOUGHT THE WORLD WAS NOW IN PEACE. BUT IT WAS NOT A TRUTH. MUSKED NINJA WAS AN ONLY DUMMY AND THE REAL BEHIND-THE-SCENE MANIPURAT -OR WAS THE SHADOW MASTER! The sound test also had a sound calld 'Uma', but that's just the sound of horse feet, so I removed that. There are small differences between a few of the songs, between versions. Thanks to ValleyBell for pointing the songs out. External links: Tomoyuki Ito interview: http://goo.gl/zhBVqy 16 Bit Shinobi Shrine: http://goo.gl/RkKBUe -vampirefrog
