Street Fighter EX2 Plus

This pack includes all tracks from EX2 Plus
and all tracks from EX2 except the ending.

Composer credits for the EX2 Plus original
songs are based from original research.

It seems like all the samples are byteswapped
in the ROM, and this is an issue that affects
all the Arika ZN games (except the original
Street Fighter EX). It appears to affect the
original hardware as well, since it is present
in all the OST and game rips.

I have taken the liberty of byteswapping all
the samples, except for two hi-hat samples.
This will make the songs sound a little better
and probably how the composers intended them
to sound like.

The attract music (track 02) plays on both the
QSound chip and the PSX SPU. Since the SPU is
not in the VGM standard, and since that part
is only a streamed ADPCM track, I ripped it,
converted to PCM and play it on a YMZ280B
instead.

There is a unused ADPCM track in the game
files. Since there is no corresponding QSound
track, I did not include it in this pack. If
you manage to extract the file system from the
arcade ROMs, you can find this track in
"SND3/TEST.PAC". Just remove the first 8 bytes
to get a VAB file.
