File updated on google drive, I don't know the origin of the original screen shot (the one from the OPLL version). It is not the title screen of the game (it has no real title screen).

The submission rule on SMSPower was to make a "cover art" style screenshot with 1:1 aspect ratio.
I took the title screen and edited it so that it looks nice and has the 1:1 aspect.

In any case, that's what the SMSPower standard was/is. On vgmrips we just take the raw screenshots.

Oh, sorry, now I get what you meant.

In order to reach the "actual" title screen, you need to defeat the first boss and then reach the newly built bridge.
