The title screen theme loops with a sudden volume change.
Play Ball! and some of the jingles have glitchy endings. After listening to Take Me Out to the Ball Game I wonder if some of these are clipping.
Take Me Out to the Ball Game is definitely too loud and needs its gain adjusted. I can try to do that later, since we did that with Magic School Bus. Also I'm not sure if this is an emulation glitch in the libvgm I'm using or not but the last note doesn't play only the first time around; in the second loop it plays; I'll see if it still happens after gain adjustment.
I'm just your average joe who basically contributes random crap to the site. I mainly rip soundtracks by Western composers because they don't get as much love.
I adjusted the gain by 0.5 which seems to be enough to not cause the audio to clip. The last note of Take Me Out to the Ball Game still sounds wrong with both libvgm and vgmplay, but with vgmplay it sounds consistently wrong each time — I'm wondering if the organ voice they used has weird phasing issues. Unfortunately the only playthrough I found on YouTube has commentary (and the only other YouTube video only shows one inning), and I'm gonna guess they play this song in the seventh inning stretch.
I'll come back to this one in the next round of uploads, since I already have this set earmarked to go up tonight and I won't have this investigated in time.
