Good morning
I was wondering if it would ever be possible for someone to create a tool similar to what we currently have for other chips like aosdk for Dreamcast, VGMtrans etc, that could read Sequence data for games that use the C140 & C352 chips in Namcos arcade games?
I understand that alot of these older games combine the chip alongside an FM chip to produce more sounds, and the later games use more than 16 channels of sound at once.
I'm really interested in remixing some songs from these games without having to work out all the notes by ear (which I could do but it would take a painstakingly long time)
Tekken 3
SoulCalibur
Fighting Layer
Tekken Tag Tournament
Burning Force
Dragon Saber: After Story of Dragon Spirit
Rolling Thunder 2
Ridge Racer
Ridge Racer 2
Rave Racer
I'm very curious as it's one of the few sound chips that uses sequenced music that has not yet been tapped into sadly
Namco C140 & C352 Sample/MIDI ripping?
Technical discussion which is not directly related to VGM files. Talk about Hardware and Software.
