You might be wondering how a series like Custom Mate changes things up three entries in. The answer, as it turns out, is pretty simple- you go from snuggling to dating, and now to marriage. The ever-increasing number of songs scales proportionally to the level of commitment, I suppose.
The music oddities don't stop with this entry, by the way: the Windows port of this game released a year later has a largely different soundtrack credited to DOORS, a successor to MUSE formed after IDES's relationship with the latter went sour. Awful lot of history for a series that hasn't been seen again, huh?
