Some tracks sound a little funky, like Title Screen and Game Complete. Simple Explanation: This is due to inaccuracies in the VGM Format and so there's nothing I can do about it. Some of the Drums have noticeable white noise. This is in the game as well, but due to the same stuff above, it's more noticeable and can't be fixed. Ironically, this set was intended as a stopgap for Sonic 3 & Knuckles - I had about six songs done when I began on this, intending to finish this first to learn more (Some of these songs were among my first VGM rips ever, which is rather painfully obvious by how sloppy songs like Green Grove Zone 2 are - but yes, it really IS that long ;) ) and then finish S3&K. Naturally, it was finished after S3&K, but that's because I powered through it in about 12 hours - an impressive feat for a 50 song game. :) Man I hate Spring Stadium Zone. I just wanted to get that off my chest. Diamond Dust and Volcano Valley are coolas hell though. :) Panic Puppet Zone 1 does a lot of extra duty: It is also the intro cinematic theme and the secret Level Select screen's music. Boss is for any non-Robotnik boss, and likewise, Robotnik is only for Robotnik as a boss, except for The Final Fight, of course. The Credits song has the notable feature of being one of the few Sonic Credit songs that loop forever: I believe only the original Sonic 3 credits was the only other game so distinguished. (S3&K's credits end.) Sonic! He can really move! Sonic! He's got an attitude! Sonic! He's the fastest thing alive! -DP This minor fix is what I did instead of sleeping tonight. There was a section missed in Green Grove Zone 2. it wasn't really THAT long; it was longer! The Final Fight also looped improperly. In the interest of maybe getting a bit of sleep before hard labor time, I shall blather no more. Good morning! -Jackle The prototype 819 Boss Theme was actually ripped from the Sonic 3D Beta dump from 2006. The only difference between this and the 819 version are some different bytes at the header. After comparing the themes to the one used in Sonic 4, it seems that Sonic 4 uses the earlier one (!) from the 819 prototype. Kega Fusion and MESS have some serious problems with the prototype 825 ROM. The sound lags horribly. Funny enough, DGen 1.21 works fine, as does Gens too. Maybe they're too accurate ;) I ripped the 825 tune with Gens/GS r7 2.16.7 and used MESS for the 819 ones. -Valley Bell
