S98 File Format

S98 is a logged sound format, supporting a few FM chips and some PSG chips. According to the specification file (see below), it emerged somewhere around 2005, and the latest specification dates from May 2006. Originally it was meant for logging OPN/OPNA only, but later it was expanded to many more chips.
