Alex Kidd in Shinobi World is a platform game, developed and released by Sega in 1990, for almost all regions of the world, excluding Japan and South Korea. The game is basically a 'kids' (hence his prototype name Shinobi Kid) version of the first Shinobi game in the series. Alex Kidd in Shinobi World is also the last entry in the Alex Kidd series. From ownard, Sega focused in Sonic the Hedgehog series, and Alex Kidd only appeared in Sega crossovers, such as Segagaga and Sega Superstars series.
