It's been a long time since I haven't rip VGM, due to time constraints and eventually ready for college next month (lies, I stopped college). So in an effort to keep my account alive, is to upload some VGM packs, hoping that I'll somehow retain my VGM ripping skills after a long time. An 1992 arcade fighting game that was released by Allumer. It is basically a sequel to a 1986 Taito game called "Gladiators". Instead of using a 6-button layout, it only uses 3-button layout, similar to the Sega Genesis controller, only used for high, low, and straight weapon attacks. The score mechanics for this game are kinda low. Instead of a hundred-thousand, or even a million score would received. It only uses like a thousand, or ten-thousand as a score mechanics. It might be strange to me on how this games' score mechanic works. I also discovered some differences between the full released version and the prototype version of this game, is that "Stage BGM 1" and "Stage BGM 2" have their full version of that track in the prototype version, while on the released version, it was cutted down due to I think memory shortage of the X1-010 chip. On the other hand, "Stage 3" and "Ending, G.O" are different between the prototype and the released version of the game. Prototype versions of the game's music uses custom bankswitching on where the sample command plays at a specific PCM address. Honestly, X1-010's command is much harder to understand than the M6295 one It is also my first X1-010 (PCM) rip. This was later ported to PC-98, and FM Towns by Ving later titled "Blandia 98" for the PC-98, and "Blandia Plus" for the FM Towns. 2024-06-27, I discontinued this VGM pack due to other coding stuff making on... 2025-05-13, After implementing the K007232 for the VGM format, I've decided to finish this pack, once and for all. And how many months I didn't finished this pack? 11 freaking months?!! wow, I didn't expect that for a long time. Note: This pack uses ADPCM streams and seeking doesn't work properly.
