The NEC PC-9821 is a high-end line of Japanese PCs made by NEC. It was succeeded by the NEC PC-9801 line.
The PC-9821 line introduced the people of Japan to Microsoft Windows; it can support Windows 3.X, Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, and even Windows XP. Very few known games have been released on PC-9821 PCs, such as Hideo Kojima's Policenauts.
