It's not every day that you encounter a game
with a cursed development history, but such is
the fate of "Zupapa!". It was first showcased
at the 1994 AOU Show, but it did not see
release until *2001*, when the game was
published on the Neo Geo MVS by SNK a month
before they filed for bankruptcy. By that
point, the developer Face was long gone.
What's worse, there is no staff roll in the
final game, so we don't know the names of
anybody involved in its development.

This is especially unfortunate because the game
itself, a single-screen platformer in the vein
of "Bubble Bobble", is well-made and fun to
play. Relevant to this site's interests is the
soundtrack, which has a mixture of music themed
to the various worlds you fight through; and,
in the strongest evidence of its age, some
*extremely* 1990s dance music sampling heavily
from club hits of the time. It's more than
likely that you'll find yourself busting a move
to these beats as you pilot Zupapa through
their quest, and it's clear that those
responsible for the soundtrack, whoever they
were, had a lot of fun writing it. If only we
knew their names...

Note that the game doesn't provide names or
numbers for any of the stages in the game, so
the track names in this pack are based off the
visual theme used in each stage.
