Apparently, this 1994 game was the first
competitive fighting game made by IGS in
1994, before they make Martial Masters on
their own arcade system called the PolyGame
Master.

This game uses YMF278B WT for the musics
itself. While the rest is using 2xOKIM6295
for the SFX. But this VGM pack plays only
one soundchip.

Yet, it is my first time ripping YMF278B.
I'm quite amazed by that soundchip combo,
where YMF and OKI are combined to produce
musics and SFXs in that game. How cool is
that!

Some of the characters in this game are
referenced by another franchise such as
Melanie being referenced as Mulan, based
on TVTropes website, and other characters
also referenced like I said, another
person or franchise.

Also, this game is very broken when it
comes to mechanics. And why does Melanie
doing projectile with her booba?!!! hmm.

some musics like track 10 and 19 are
hard to find the shortest possible loop
points using vgmlpfnd. Is it because the
sound driver? Or something else that might
have the culprit why this game's music
driver is broken. And this might be my
hardest VGM pack to ever find the exact
loop, cause either have to do vgmlpfnd,
or to do the manual looping on this thing.
Track 14 on the other hand are harder to
find the exact loop. It's so hard that
this game uses dynamic channel allocation.
So channels itself start delaying the
note sequence, and I hate it.

The same as track 17 too, but that one
doesn't have delays. As you noticed that
why the time itself is much longer than the
other songs you might ask. Again! it uses
dynamic channel allocation, and I can't
shorten the loop on that track, resulting
some of the notes muted. But, I managed to
trimmed it short, it's not that perfect, so
as I mentioned earlier about that longer time
loop, i'm gonna include it as proper in-game
loop, cause that's what vgmlpfnd found.

The worst part is, track 14 or Claus's theme
is the hardest to find the exact loop that I'm
gonna include the in-game loop version of
this. Why? Due to the delay of the chime part.
So, i'm gonna trim the first loop part of the
song, but it might be not too perfect, because
again. Dynamic channel allocation.

And, my PC and SSD crashed while logging that
track. I had to re-install Windows 11 again to
continue ripping this goddamn game!

The in-game version is basically the chime
part in the game itself seems stays at
around 5 hours, when I noticed that it stucks
the chime part before it crashes my PC, but I
don't know if it moves past 5 hours on that.
I'm gonna update the pack if I have time for
this, or i'm gonna buy a new gaming PC to
log it fully. I hope it doesn't pass above
27 hours of logging.

Track names are taken in-game, while the track
listings are based on the sound codes.

Older versions such as foo_gep (that's what I
use to play VGMs) may lead to crash the
app instead. So don't play it on foobar2000
using Game Emu Player.
